ORIGIN: Israel (Eliat Stone), Mexico, Chile, Britain and USA (Arizona, Utah)

CHRYSOCOLLA is a mineral of cyan colour (blue-green) and is a minor ore of copper. The name comes from the ancient Greek 'χρυσός' (chrysos) and 'κολλα' (kolla), meaning 'gold' and 'glue' in allusion to the name of the material used to solder gold and was first used by Theophrastus in 315 BC.

HISTORY: Native Americans have been using it to strengthen the body's resistance to illness and for its calming benefits. It helps cleaning emotional blockages allowing more optimistic look to the future. It is used to heal the headache and promote unconditional love. It inspires change, flexibility and creativity in all things. In addition to that, legends that originate in Africa and Tibet tell of healings through its usage.
